The Content of Character or the Color of Skin?
“The Negro revolution is controlled by foxy white liberals, by the Government itself. But the Black Revolution is controlled only by God.” ~Malcolm X
Presidential candidate Ron Paul was the darling of antiwar activists on the left and right, the Texas congressman attracted recognition and donations from across the ideological spectrum. Antiwar conservatives, disaffected centrists, even young liberal activists had all gathered to Paul, hailing him as a throwback to an earlier age, when politicians were less mealy-mouthed and the Federal government had more modest ambitions at home and abroad. In addition Ron Paul strongly opposes what is quite possibly the biggest form of racism perpetrated against black males in America, the hypocritical so called "War on Drugs". Ron Paul was the only candidate out to abolish the prohibition on drugs that disproportionately targets black males. As president he could have been a hero to African American People. What happened next? The controlled news media launched the same attack on him as they did on President Barack Obama’s well known spiritual adviser Pastor Jeremiah Wright. They called him a racist.
What did Obama say in his former spiritual adviser’s defense? Barack Obama said he was "outraged" by the comments his minister, Rev. Jeremiah Wright. Since then Commander and Chief Barack Obama has shown his displeasure with Reverend Wright was anything but mere political posturing. He began by ordering an additional 30,000 U.S. troops into the “war” in Afghanistan, nearly tripling the force he inherited from Bush. The financial cost $30 billion for the first year alone; the true cost in lives may never be known. In a prime-time speech at the U.S. Military Academy, the president told the nation his new policy was designed to "bring this war to a successful conclusion”. Who would have thought that what the most historic presidency in American history would turn out to be just another Regime change?
Now with the passage of the new Healthcare bill the IRS is gearing up its own new military branch to enforce Obama-Care dictates, yes the IRS is buying Remington 870 shotguns. Regardless of the social issues associated with arming tax collectors, you must give those accountants some credit: they know how to choose an intimidating gun. The IRS Shotgun is a 14" short barreled Remington 870, similar to the Remington MCS Tactical Entry/CQB Shotgun (pictured at the bottom of the page)
So, why was Pastor Wright branded a racist? The answer is he spoke out against US wars and Zionist Extremism.
“The Israelis have illegally occupied Palestinian territories for over 40 years now. Divestment has now hit the table again as a strategy to wake the business community and wake up Americans concerning the injustice and the racism under which the Palestinians have lived because of Zionism.” ~Pastor Jeremiah Wright
What would the civil rights and spiritual leaders of yesteryear have said about today’s political climate?
It is easy to imagine (if you will forgive my language) that since the “same old shit” is happening now as it was then, only now with a bi-racial president. They would say the same things now as they did before. Things very similar to what Texas Senator Ron Paul has said.
“I'm for truth, no matter who tells it. I'm for justice, no matter who it's for or against.”~Malcolm X
“We bombed Hiroshima, we bombed Nagasaki, and we nuked far more than the thousands in New York and the Pentagon, and we never batted an eye.” ~Pastor Jeremiah Wright
“Setting a good example is a far better way to spread ideals than through force of arms.” ~Ron Paul
I object to violence because when it appears to do good, the good is only temporary; the evil it does is permanent. ~Mahatma Gandhi
“I have condemned ANY organizer of war, regardless of his rank or nationality”. ~Martin Luther King, Jr.
“The most important element of a free society, where individual rights are held in the highest esteem, is the rejection of the initiation of violence”. ~Ron Paul
“Truth is on the side of the oppressed”. ~Malcolm X
“We have supported state terrorism against the Palestinians and black South Africans, and now we are indignant because the stuff we have done overseas is now brought right back to our own front yards. America’s chickens are coming home to roost.” ~ Pastor Jeremiah Wright
“It was our pre-9/11 interventionalism -- and the "blowback" that ensued -- that was to blame for terrorism and the 9/11 attacks.” ~Ron Paul
“You're not supposed to be so blind with patriotism that you can't face reality. Wrong is wrong no matter who does it or who says it”. ~Malcolm X
“It is unwise to be too sure of one's own wisdom. It is healthy to be reminded that the strongest might weaken and the wisest might err.” ~Mahatma Gandhi
“Clichés about supporting the troops are designed to distract from failed policies, policies promoted by powerful special interests that benefit from war, anything to steer the discussion away from the real reasons the war in Iraq will not end anytime soon.” ~Ron Paul
“The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.” ~Martin Luther King, Jr.
“The government gives them the drugs, builds bigger prisons, passes a three-strike law and then wants us to sing ‘God Bless America.’ No, no, no, God damn America, that’s in the Bible for killing innocent people. God damn America for treating our citizens as less than human. God damn America for as long as she acts like she is God and she is supreme.” ~Pastor Jeremiah Wright
“You wanna get rid of drug crime in this country? Fine, let's just get rid of all the drug laws”. ~Ron Paul
“The bombs in Vietnam explode at home; they destroy the hopes and possibilities for a decent America”. ~Martin Luther King, Jr.
The chain reaction of evil--wars producing more wars -- must be broken, or we shall be plunged into the dark abyss of annihilation. ~Martin Luther King, Jr.
“I am just absolutely convinced that the best formula for giving us peace and preserving the American way of life is freedom, limited government, and minding our own business overseas. “ ~Ron Paul
"What difference does it make to the dead, the orphans and the homeless, whether the mad destruction is wrought under the name of totalitarianism or the holy name of liberty or democracy?" ~Mahatma Gandhi
“At the center of non-violence stands the principle of love.” ~Martin Luther King, Jr.
“Another term for preventive war is aggressive war - starting wars because someday somebody might do something to us. That is not part of the American tradition”. ~Ron Paul
“I am not interested in power for power's sake, but I'm interested in power that is moral, that is right and that is good”. ~Martin Luther King, Jr.
“Legitimate use of violence can only be that which is required in self-defense. The greatest purveyor of violence in the world today is my own government.” ~Martin Luther King, Jr.
“Have we not come to such an impasse in the modern world that we must love our enemies - or else? The chain reaction of evil - hate begetting hate, wars producing more wars - must be broken, or else we shall be plunged into the dark abyss of annihilation”. ~Martin Luther King, Jr.
“If you like small government you need to work hard at having a strong national defense that is not so militant. Personal liberty is the purpose of government, to protect liberty - not to run your personal life, not to run the economy, and not to pretend that we can tell the world how they ought to live.” ~Ron Paul
“I believe in human beings, and that all human beings should be respected as such, regardless of their color.” ~Malcolm X
You don't have freedom because you are a hyphenated American; you have freedom because you are an individual, and that should be protected. ~Ron Paul
If people were not anti-Arian for opposing the Nazi’s, then why are we now anti-Semites for opposing the invasions of Arab nations and murder of Arab peoples (the real absurdity here being that The term Semite means a member of any of various Semitic-speaking peoples including but not limited to Hebrews, Arabs, and Ethiopian Semites, so shouldn’t an Anti-Semite dislike all these groups, not just the far right Zionist extremist that are reeking Terror on their neighbors) Why is it that is all media and the politicians want us to fight amongst ourselves and focus on our differences. How come all these so called Black racist and white supremacist share so much concern over all the brown people being killed. Hey I’ve got a great idea, why don’t the filthy rich multinational corporations manipulating the government and press, stop race-baiting and stop killing brown people?
One final quote:
“Smug, greedy, well-fed white people have invented a language to conceal their sins. It’s as simple as that. The CIA doesn’t kill anybody anymore, they neutralize people. Or they de-populate the area. The government doesn’t lie, it engages in disinformation. The Pentagon actually measures nuclear radiation in something they call “sunshine units.” Israeli murderers are called commandos. Arab commandos are called terrorists. Contra killers are called freedom fighters. Well, if crime fighters fight crime, and firefighters fight fire, what do freedom fighters fight? They never mention that part of it to us, do they?”

well said! the quotes? excellent!it's amazing and confusing watching the two sets of rules used here and abroad. it's even more shocking watching one group flip rules and morals upside down and say thats not what they're doing. the silent majority just quietly watches. if "truth" can become our leader we will have created eutopia!
guns for the irs? what would they be for, security? if so thats ok.disgruntled taxpayers!great hub!
I am impressed with your research. You have broadend my point of view. Not sure about the Rev.Wright....he was not accomodating a graceful process for Obama, I think I would have done the same thing in order to win. I am glad he distanced himself.

Still not a Jeremiah Wright fan myself, but I do believe in his right to have free speech. We are in an ideological civil war at this point in America (hopefully it will remain non-violent) between those of us who want individual liberty and those who believe that the government should take care of us. That is it in a nutshell for brevity's sake. All of these other details and disagreements can be hashed out after we understand that some of us don't want to be controlled by the Big Brother and some of us do. I mean there are people out there who really believe that the bigger the government is the better it is. IRS agents with guns, thousands more of them being hired to get in our faces and ensure complicity is going to infuriate many of us to a degree this land has yet to see, at least in a long time.
